The role
For over a year, I've been part of a small, tight-knit team working as dedicated designers for Reddit. We support several Reddit accounts across every kind of project: digital, print and ideation. From social banners and full campaigns to event booths, videos and new mascots, hundreds of pieces have gone through our hands.
The challenge
Reddit is a brand with a strong personality and a clear set of guidelines. Working at this volume, the easy path is repetition: the same layouts, the same solutions, over and over. A brand that feels this alive can't afford to look the same twice.
The approach
Consistency was non-negotiable. Every piece follows the brand book and its guidelines. But within those rules, we push the style as far as it can go. We explore, play and look for new ways to say things, so the brand stays fresh and fun without ever sacrificing legibility or recognition.
The result
A body of work that feels varied and surprising, yet always unmistakably Reddit.
